You’ll still fish the New River, but you’ll spend four hours on the water instead of eight. Choose from spin fishing or fly fishing–just let us know your preference when you book your trip.

Picture yourself casting the perfect line as you float along the New River. The sun is warm on your face, and the sounds of nature surround you while you wait for a wiggle on the line to signal your very first catch. At Adventures on the Gorge, we love teaching guests everything they need to know to get started fly fishing. Our full-day lessons are conducted right on the river with your guide. With hands-on learning, you’ll practice catching the active Smallmouth Bass that thrive in the waters of the New River.
